Are my tables preserved exactly?

Rows and columns are detected from text coordinates, so simple tables transfer cleanly. Merged cells, headers that span multiple columns, or tables with complex borders may need manual cleanup.

Does this work on scanned PDFs?

No — image-only PDFs have no text to read. Run OCR first, then convert the OCRed PDF here.

One sheet per page — can I merge them after?

Yes, open the .xlsx in Excel / Google Sheets and copy-paste rows between sheets as needed.
